This time Max Keiser and co-host Stacy Herbert wonder why Iceland’s volcanic ash cloud spared the victims of banking fraud; they also look at the scandals behind the Fabulous Fab Tourre’s “monstrosities,” Gordon Brown’s “shock” at Goldman’s “moral bankruptcy,” and at the political markets shocking the currency markets. In the second half of the show, Max talks to author and journalist Afshin Rattansi about the surprise outcome of the UK’s first ever televised political debates; the UK taxpayers nearly $1 billion loss via Goldman’s alleged fraud; and about Tony Blair’s lucrative post-Downing Street banking career.

How do I get my finance to stop swearing?
February 14th, 2009 — Personal Finance
My finance is swearing all the time, & I have a 7 year old boy, & we have a baby on the way. I don’t think it is good for my son to hear these words all the time. Often he uses cuss words in a normal conversation. He also has a short temper & simple things get him to swear & yell. I don’t want to raise kids like this, how do I get him to stop. Isn’t it bad for kids to hear?
What banks can finance a single family residence under 600 square feet?
September 23rd, 2008 — Renting & Real Estate
Hello. I am attempting to buy a foreclosure in San Diego that is a single family residence with a total square footage of 528. I was told it is difficult for banks to finance anything under 600 square feet. The house is in good shape but its tiny. I need financing asap since the bank already accepted my offer. Thanks.
How possible would it be to finance a rather cheap house?
March 14th, 2008 — Renting & Real Estate
Ok, this is starting to get rather confusing. I am looking to buy a home in a surprisingly cheap neighborhood. The house I am interested in purchasing is under $50,000. My credit qualifies me for a bad credit loan, but no one wants to finance for such a small amount. I am definately trying to live within my means and do not necessarily want to purchase a higher value home just because I can. Does anyone have any idea where I can finance such a house even though my credit is tarnished (but getting fixed due to multiple discrepencies)? I know there are different requirements depending on the state. My state is PA, and I am first time homebuyer.
