The Incredible Sulk asked:
For example, if I had to repeat a year would student finance decline me of finance in the future? Would they give me the full maintenance grant to repeat the year or would they maybe not support me for his year and then support me the next, upon successful completion of my second year of the programme?

If you are in the UK then generally they will give you a second chance at passing the year (finance-wise).
You don’t fail a year, you fail a class. If you failed all your classes, you need to speak with an advisor. You have much bigger issues than your financial aid.
